Mahindra Marazzo launched in India at ₹9.99 lakh

Mahindra has finally launched it's much anticipated premium MPV, the Marazzo. Here are the complete details of this new MPV.

Exteriors

Mahindra says it has taken a big step forward with the launch of the Marazzo. For instance, the Marazzo isn't as boxy-looking as other Mahindra SUVs and the design too is a slight departure from what we've seen from Mahindra till now. There are those wraparound headlamps which feature a dual barrel pattern along with projectors and the lower bumper houses the led DRLs.There's a thick black cladding on the lower portion of the front bumper which gives it a crossover kinda stance.Moving to the side profile, the car has a prominent crease running through it's shoulder line and that gives it a muscular appearance. At the back,we have the tailamps which look oversized and are led units. There's a thick chrome line merging into the tailamps which give it a premium look. Then there are thoss 17"diamond-cut alloys and shark fin antenna on the top spec-trims which altogether give the Marazzo a premium look.

Interiors

The cabin has a black-beige theme with piano-black inserts

Moving to the interiors of the Marazzo, the car is quite feature-packed here too. You get a 7" touchscreen infotainment system which supports apple carplay as well as android auto. The dashboard has a prominent use of piano-black treatment on it with textured patterns. Then you have the instrument console which has a colour MID in the centre and purple illuminated dials. The MPV will be offered in 7 and 8 seat configurations and overall comfort and space is on the upper strata of MPVs. However, luggage space with all 7 or 8 seats up is minimal.

Specifications

The Marazzo comes with only one engine option-a 1.5 diesel unit churning out 121 hp and 300 Nm of peak torque. The Marazzo comes with disc barkes on all four wheels which seems great. Also, dual airbags and ABS awill be offered as standard across all trims. On paper, the Mahindra Marazzo seems quite promising but only in the near future,we'll be able to say whether it will be winner for Mahindra or not.
